Those with balanced mental health are able to successfully manage the stresses of life and live productive, fulfilling lives.
However, mental health is something that is always changing depending on influences like life stresses, lifestyle, physical health, genetics and trauma. It is normal for people to experience ups and downs throughout their lives. It is also important to understand what mental health is so that proper steps can be taken to keep oneself mentally healthy.
